How I Apply My Mascara without clumps

While I don't do fiber lashes and I decided to stick with my trusty Maybelline mascara, I wanted to help in case anyone is wondering how to better apply those fiber lashes without them coming out clumpy and uneven. :)

My lashes looked awful the first time I tested these fiber lashes. I was ready to toss it but something made me hold on to it (probably my money saving self not willing to let mascara go to waste), and so I started to experiment with them.

Here is how I discovered a great way to apply this mascara without my  lashes looking like a sticky, clumpy mess:

Step 1: Begin with a clean, scrubbed face free of all mascara.

Step 2: Brush your lashes with an eyelash brush.

Step 3: apply fiber lash mascara, using a "Z" motion figure as you pull the wand outward away from your eye. Do it lightly, not hard, and do it as fast as possible, not super slow.

Step 4: Take your eyelash brush and brush out your lashes. Trust me on this. This is the most crucial step besides step 1.

Step 5: Apply your second coat, either another coat of fiber lash mascara, or the second coat can be from your favorite trusty mascara as well. I find either one works. Use the same motion as in step 3.

Be sure to remove any tiny clumps that might have been pulled outward from your lash line with the very tips of your fingers, very gently.

Viola! Beautiful, clumpless lashes that look natural and amazing!
