We are going to see the doc today for one of our last appointments. My little guy has got hiccups this morning :) and that is the craziest thing! Just the feeling of it and then seeing your tummy go bup, bup, bup :).
I am already almost 39 weeks, and this month is actually flying by faster than I thought. I hope to find out whether I've dilated more or not. Something should have happened with all the contractions and pain I've been having from the "practice" phase. But I can't control it, and I just want him to get here when he is really ready anyway. Only, preferably sooner rather than later) haha.
This visit should be interesting. We actually see our Nurse today, thank God! I love that woman, she is thee best in the world.
On a side note, our weather is gross again :(. I was enjoying the cooler weather and should have known it wasn't going to stick around very long. Hopefully it comes back soon, though. We were graced with the presence of a wicked lightning storm last night, though. Even though we didn't get much more rain, maybe a quick sprinkle, the thunder was really loud and even shook the house. While I prefer the soft, rumbling thunder and the sound of rain on the house roof, last night we were just grateful to finally get something. Every time they call for rain or thunderstorms in our area, we get skipped and never get them :(. Last night was a first in a long time.
Well nothing is really new with me for right now. Just got addicted to watching the Cooking channels (I always watched Food Network and stuff like that before) but online I've actually found much better recipes and things to try, so I am looking forward to that.
Tonight I am making Tex-Mex burgers with pepperjack cheese and bacon ranch roast potato wedges :). I love cooking!!! If you can't already tell hehe.
I am being very ADD here, I know, and I'm sorry :(, but I'm just jabbering today. At least, until I have something more to update. I am just waiting and killing time before the doctor's visit this afternoon.
I will definitely get back on here sometime soon and let you know what the doctor said and if there is anything new.
Last time I was there, just a week ago, I was dilated 1 cmt and effaced 50%, so progress!! Let's just hope that progress doesn't get lethargic and start slowing down on me. I know this happens to some women, and as every woman is different during her pregnancy (just another way we are reminded each day how that fool Eve messed everything up for us), but hopefully mine will be good and progressive. So far it has been, and things have been moving along according to plan :), or at least as it should normally be anyway.
